Strike action may affect Wiltshire waste collections

Refuse & Garden waste collections

Nationwide industrial action by local government workers on 16th and 17th July may affect collections of household and garden waste. The Wiltshire Waste Partnership is making arrangements to minimise collection delays, but collection on these days cannot be guaranteed.

Please contact your District Council waste collection service for advice on what to do if your household or garden waste collection falls on one of these two days.

Black box recycling collections

Black box kerbside collection services in North Wiltshire, Salisbury and West Wiltshire Districts are performed by the contractor, Hills Waste Solutions Ltd and will not be affected. However, black box kerbside collections in Kennet may be affected - please click on the link above for more information.

Trade waste collections

If you have a trade waste collection, or other special collection on either of these days, please contact your District Council waste collection service for advice.


Household Recycling Centres
