Reducing Junk Mail
 Did you know? Half a million tonnes of junk mail is generated every year in the UK, with the average household receiving over 220 pieces of unwanted junk mail.
If you wish to reduce the amount of Junk Mail that you receive through your door - register for free with the Mailing Preference Service and remove your name and address from up to 95% of mailing lists.
How it works
The Mail Preference Service stops personally addressed unsolicited mail. Once you are registered it may take between one to four months for the service to have full effect, however you should notice a reduction of mail during this time.
