Welcome to the household waste area of the website.

Within theses pages you will find useful information about the waste we throw away as a nation and what efforts are being undertaken here in Wiltshire to reduce, re-use and recycle the ever increasing levels of rubbish.

Please see 'Your waste' to the left for information on the waste that we dispose of here in Wiltshire.

You can find out your next black box collection date by opening the tab 'Kerbside Recycling' and launching the collection calendar.

You can find your nearest recycling site by clicking on the tab 'Recycling Sites' or by clicking the 'Household Recycling Centres' graphic. Here you will also find information on local mini recycling points.

We can all help to cut down the amount of waste we produce, by reducing the amount of waste thrown away, re-using items such as glass jars and bottles and recycling items which can be used to create other goods.

Click on the 'What You Can Do' tab to find out how you can reduce the amount of waste you produce. Alternatively click on the reduce and reuse icon throughout this area to access this information.
