Your waste: Batteries

You can now recycle all your household batteries at any of Wiltshire's 10 Household Recycling Centres

All household recycling centres can now accept all types of household batteries, including rechargeable battery packs used in DIY tools and digital cameras, laptop batteries, small "button" or watch type batteries, as well as the typical AA and AAA batteries.

Car batteries, which have been collected at the sites for several years, will continue to be recycled in seperate containers.

In Wiltshire we throw away over 4 million batteries every year!
