Charities

Charities are voluntary or not-for–profit organisations set-up to provide a service to the community. Many provide services to disadvantaged people in Wiltshire and others are based in the County and provide support in other Countries.

In the operation of these charities items are donated which my not be suitable for resale or passing on to individuals. To assist these charities Wiltshire County Council operates a discressionary scheme to enable then to take items to the household recycling centre for recycling wherever possible or for disposal.
